Shamior is an OEM shoe manufacturer with a 60-year history, based in Asakusa, Tokyo, a hub for Japanese shoemaking. Our factory brand, “OEDO,” features designs inspired by motifs from Edo Komon, a traditional fabric that flourished in the Edo period, blending heritage with modern style.
Japan has a long history of traditional patterns used in textiles, ceramics, and interior decoration. We have embellished our products with crystal decorations, drawing inspiration from the historic motifs of the Edo period.
With a science-based approach from SATRA members, manufacturing techniques from Gore-Tex, and waterproof materials from Foot
Technology, we have achieved high-quality waterproof performance in our products.
These knee-high boots are embellished with black crystals. We express waves in the sea with the crystals. The design is originated from the traditional “Edo-Komon” cherished by ancient Tokyo people.
